Fourth graders at Duval Charter School at Westside experienced two interactive exhibits during their field trip to the Museum of Science & History. They were taken by storm in the Wild Weather Exhibit when they produced clouds and experienced lightning in the lab. They found out what makes a tornado spin, what causes thunder, and how hurricanes are formed as they learned about how temperature influences weather. In the Skies Over Jacksonville Exhibit, students had an opportunity to observe, listen, and investigate the relationships between our home planet and their most familiar neighborhoods.
